We sell the honey comb surrounded by liquid honey with a wide neck container so you can easily choose which to scoop out. Usually we cut the virgin wax once a year and only if there is a surplus. Our colonies over winter on their own honey wherever possible. But in early spring if the weather has been too warm and the bees wake up early then sugar paste with extra pollen as a suppliant can be fed whilst we wait for the spring flowers.

We cut out chunks of honey comb from the beehive and add clear raw honey to top up the jar. You can spoon out the liquid honey or scoop out the honey comb.
